PADI Rescue Diver Certification

PADI’s Rescue Diver certification helps divers strengthen their knowledge of dive safety, hone their situational awareness and learn the skills necessary to recognize, respond to, and help prevent diving emergencies. Rescue Diver is a thoroughly rewarding, but challenging course taught over two days. The first day is taught from a shoreline location (conditions permitting) or a pool. Day two is taught off of our boat. Both days involve direct participation in scenarios requiring active problem solving, critical thinking and strenuous physical activity. PADI Rescue Diver is both a physically and mentally demanding course, however it is also possibly the most productive course for advancing your dive skills and is well worth the effort. If you’re serious about becoming a better diver, PADI’s Rescue Diver course is for you.

Prerequisites for the PADI Rescue Diver certification:

  • First Responder or equivalent certification within the last 24 months
